Hydrate.
water is the elixir of life.
Most people are aware that they should drink water. Because it is good for you. But why?
Our bodies are 70% water, with our blood being 85% water. We can lose up to 500ml of water a day simply by breathing, talking, sweating, walking around. We need water for good brain function, good digestion, the flow of nutrients and fluid around the body, chemical processes, to be flexible, to be happy and so much more.
We have learned to bury the signals our body gives us when it is thirsty. We have hidden these under the guises of drinking coffee, tea, juice, alcohol or feeding it. Whenever we put something into water, we change the way our body deals with it.
We all need to get on a hydration journey. Pure and simple.
Add vegetable juices into daily life or during a cleanse.
Cleanse.
your cells NEED A good clear out.
What would happen if the refuse service went on strike. You would put your rubbish out in a pile, which would get bigger and bigger after a few weeks. This might attract vermin, flies and other scavengers. Soon it would be a fairly toxic environment. But as soon as the refuse collectors came back and cleared away the rubbish, you would sigh with relief and have a clear space.
Your body is the same.
Your cells in their natural, daily life create ‘rubbish’. In a healthy body, much of this waste is continually removed. In a stressed-out, de-hydrated body, the waste doesn’t get removed. It gets re-absorbed and sent to non-critical parts of the body for storage, leading to disease.
We must give our cells and our body regular opportunities to cleanse and dump that rubbish.
Nourish.
Provide your body with the correct nutrients to thrive.
The food we eat isn’t simply what we put in our mouths.
It is where it is grown, how it is reared, what it has been given to prevent disease, how far it has travelled, what packaging it has been put in, what has been added to it, what has been taken away, how long it has been stored, how it has been cooked, what is it eaten alongside, the state is our gut in to be able to absorb any or all of the nutrients contained with in, the effect these nutrients have on your body.
Most of us don’t think about any of this.
It’s time to make a change.
But don’t panic. Before we suggest taking anything out of your current diet, we will add in new fantastic flavours and ingredients that will enhance your body and mind. You will start to feel so good and understand how these foods are benefitting you, that you won’t want to eat the foods that made you feel as you did before.
Everyone can improve on what, how and when they eat.
